Dress Down Day - June 10, 2016: Journey Bags Organization

On Friday, June 10, 2016, the North Bergen School District will be partaking in a North Bergen Federation of Teachers Dress Down Day. All proceeds raised will support the Journey Bags organization. Journey Bags are backpacks that are filled with clothes and a toy. They are given to children who have been removed from their homes, sometimes with just the clothes on their backs, and placed in the foster care system to help them transition. This organization is run by one of our own, Ellen Begbie, of Robert Fulton School. She and the students and staff of Robert Fulton School have been working together to make this project successful.

Suggested donation is $5.00 per person. Please see your NBFT Union Representative.
