Lessons Learned from Teacher Development & Evaluation

The North Bergen Federation of Teachers attended the AFT's Moving Beyond Compliance: Lessons Learned from Teacher Development and Evaluation on September 28 - 30 in Virginia. NBFT President Elizabeth Lynch, Executive Vice President Carol Toomey, and Vice President Laurie Troiano attended the conference, which focused on teacher evaluations and moving beyond compliance. Valuable information from the conference was brought back to the North Bergen school district for discussion and review, in hopes of possible implementation in the district's teacher evaluation procedure. AFT President Randi Weingarten spoke to attendees on the last day of the conference.
