NBFT Supports United Teachers Los Angeles

On Monday, January 15, 2019, the North Bergen teachers showed support for the United Teachers Los Angeles. According to CNN, "an estimated 32,000 Los Angeles teachers and staff members hit the picket lines Monday, demanding lower class sizes, higher salaries and more counselors and nurses in over 1,000 schools" (Yan, Elam, & Nieves, 2019). Teachers in Los Angeles have been working without a contract and are on a verge of a strike. The teachers in North Bergen showed their support by wearing red-colored clothing.
